An initiative created by the Federal Reserve Bank to increase awareness of all matters financial, the events across the country provide free or low-cost seminars on a variety of issues. Take a look at the web site and see if there is a topic in your area that you would like to know more about.
For me, a frugal life is an informed life. Go, listen, ask questions, and then make a decision for yourself. A frugal person does not take financial advice without analyzing it independently. Or at least they should not in my opinion.
